Meet Our Team
Tiffany has been working with children and youth in various capacities for the past 20 years. She is delighted to be back at SPU, where she graduated with a degree in English Literature and Global and Urban Ministries nearly two decades ago. Tiffany has been a secondary language arts teacher in both public and private schools and finds great joy when students see themselves in books or are introduced to different cultures and stories that go beyond stereotypes. In 2012, she co-founded the Rainier Valley YoungLives branch where she helped to create a safe space for young moms and their kids to be supported in their parenting and faith journey.
As a community builder, Tiffany loves to connect people and programs with churches and nonprofits. Her family attends Rainier Avenue Church, where she has worked as an interim children’s director and served in children’s and youth ministry for several years, as well as on the intercessory prayer team. She is passionate about kids knowing they are fully loved and capable of hearing God’s voice and experiencing the Holy Spirit in tangible ways.
As a mom of three kids in Seattle Public Schools, she has spent countless hours working on equity and advocacy matters within the PTSA and community. Tiffany recently completed the Academy of Spiritual Formation with Soul Formation and also considers herself an independent scholar on matters of equity, race, and cultural awareness.
She lives on Beacon Hill with her husband and three kids. In her free time, you can find her reading a book from her nightstand pile, hiking with The Mountaineers, baking for her neighbors, or attempting to start a dance party.
